Your Wealth Ascent, LLC
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 30, 2026
Your Wealth Ascent, LLC ("Your Wealth Ascent," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal and financial information you provide when using our website, financial tracking tools, financial coaching services, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how we protect it, and the choices you may have regarding your information.
Your Wealth Ascent provides financial coaching, financial education, financial tracking, and related services. Your Wealth Ascent is not an investment advisory service and does not provide investment, securities, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or credit-repair advice.
By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us and certain information generated through your use of the Services.
Account and Contact Information
When you create or maintain an account or communicate with us, we may collect information such as your name, email address, account information, and other contact information you choose to provide.
Financial Information You Provide
The Services allow you to voluntarily enter information concerning your personal financial circumstances. Depending on how you use the Services, this may include income, expenses, savings, assets, debts and liabilities, cash flow, net worth, financial goals and milestones, and other financial information you choose to provide.
Coaching and Plan Information
If you participate in financial coaching, we may maintain information concerning your financial goals, coaching plans, assigned action items, progress, notes, milestones, and other information relating to the coaching relationship.
Communications
We may collect and retain information you provide when communicating with Your Wealth Ascent through the Services, email, telephone, text message, video conference, in-person meetings, or other communication methods.
Technical and Service Information
Our technology and service providers may automatically process limited technical information necessary to authenticate users, maintain security, operate the Services, diagnose errors, and provide the underlying infrastructure.
2. Information We Do Not Intend to Collect
During the current version of the Services, Your Wealth Ascent does not request or require users to provide:
- Social Security numbers;
- Driver's license or other government identification numbers;
- Online banking usernames or passwords;
- Full payment-card numbers or card security codes directly to Your Wealth Ascent; or
- Other sensitive identifiers that are not necessary to provide the Services.
Please do not submit this information through financial notes, coaching notes, support communications, or other free-text areas of the Services unless we specifically request it for a legitimate purpose.
3. Financial Entry, Statement Imports and Connected Accounts
You can enter financial information manually, import supported statements, or connect supported institutions through Plaid when your membership includes that feature.
Statement imports process supported files in your browser. Financial information saved through import and review flows can include transactions, balances, payment details, source filenames and review history. These records are stored with your account. Choose files carefully and avoid including unnecessary sensitive identifiers.
When you authorize an institution connection, Plaid and the institution provide the account information permitted by your connection. This may include account identifiers and details, balances, transactions and connection status. We store the information and connection tokens needed to provide updates and related features.
Banking credentials are entered through the institution or connection provider, rather than directly into Your Wealth Ascent. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Disconnecting an institution stops future access through that connection; previously saved records remain subject to our retention and deletion practices.
4. How We Use Information
We may use personal information to provide and operate the Services; create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts; display financial information and calculations requested by users; calculate and display information such as cash flow and net worth; provide financial coaching and educational services; develop and maintain coaching plans, goals, milestones, and action items; communicate with users regarding their accounts or Services; provide customer support; process account and data-deletion requests; maintain and improve the reliability and security of the Services; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or other harmful activity; comply with applicable legal obligations; enforce our agreements and policies; and protect the rights, property, and safety of Your Wealth Ascent, our users, and others.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual to understand and improve our Services.
5. Human Access to Financial Information
Your Wealth Ascent provides human financial coaching services. Accordingly, financial information entered into the Services may be reviewed by authorized Your Wealth Ascent personnel when necessary to provide coaching, develop or maintain a client's financial plan, respond to the client, administer the Services, provide support, maintain security, or otherwise perform legitimate business functions.
Access to client information is intended to be limited to authorized personnel who have a legitimate need to access the information.
Users should therefore understand that financial information entered into their account is not necessarily visible only to the user.
6. Financial Coaching and Education
Information you provide may be used to help Your Wealth Ascent provide personalized financial coaching and educational information concerning topics such as budgeting, cash flow, savings, debt reduction, net worth, financial organization, financial goals, and general financial concepts.
Your Wealth Ascent may also provide general educational information concerning investments and investment concepts, such as explaining terminology, research methods, dividends, yields, or hypothetical calculations.
Your Wealth Ascent does not use client information for the purpose of recommending specific stocks, securities, cryptocurrencies, or other investments, and does not provide individualized securities recommendations or investment portfolio management through the Services.
Additional limitations regarding financial coaching and educational content may be described in our Terms of Use and other applicable disclosures.
7. Service Providers and Appointment Scheduling
We use service providers to operate the Services, including DreamHost for website hosting, Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure, Stripe for payment processing, and Plaid for supported institution connections. These providers process information needed to deliver their services under their respective terms and privacy practices.
When authorized staff connect Google Calendar, we store the authorization tokens, account and calendar identifiers, event identifiers, appointment details and Google Meet links needed to create and update coaching appointments. We use this access for appointment scheduling and related service administration.
Appointment details and meeting links may be shared with the client and assigned staff through the Services, calendar invitations and service communications. Please avoid putting unnecessary private financial information in appointment titles or descriptions.
8. Payments
Your Wealth Ascent may charge subscription fees, financial coaching fees, one-time fees, or other charges for certain Services.
Payment processing is provided through third-party payment processing services, including Stripe. Payment-card information may be submitted directly to the payment processor rather than stored by Your Wealth Ascent.
We may receive and maintain limited payment and subscription information from our payment processor, such as payment status, subscription status, transaction identifiers, billing dates, customer or subscription identifiers, and other information reasonably necessary to administer paid Services. We do not intend to receive or store full payment-card numbers or card security codes.
A payment processor's handling of information may also be governed by its own privacy policy and terms.
9. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors who assist us in operating, securing, supporting, or providing the Services; when necessary to provide Services requested by a client; when required by law, legal process, court order, or governmental request; when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our agreements; to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of Your Wealth Ascent, our clients, or others; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, restructuring, bankruptcy, or transfer of some or all of our business or assets, subject to applicable law.
10. We Do Not Sell Client Financial Information
Your Wealth Ascent does not sell or rent clients' personal or financial information.
We also do not provide individually identifiable client financial information to advertisers for targeted advertising.
We do not currently use third-party advertising pixels or third-party behavioral advertising technologies as part of the Services.
If our practices materially change in the future, we will update our disclosures as appropriate and provide any choices required by applicable law.
11. Analytics and Tracking Technologies
Your Wealth Ascent does not currently use third-party advertising analytics services or advertising pixels as part of the Services.
Like most web-based services, our website, hosting infrastructure, authentication systems, or other technical providers may use cookies, browser storage, session information, logs, or similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, security, fraud prevention, preferences, and basic operation of the Services.
If we introduce additional analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies, we may update this Privacy Policy and provide additional notices or choices where appropriate.
12. Data Security
Your Wealth Ascent uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, or misuse.
These measures may include authentication controls, database access controls, authorization policies, restricted administrative access, and security features provided by our technology providers.
However, no internet transmission, database, computer system, or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should notify us if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.
13. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce our agreements.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose for which the information was collected and applicable legal requirements.
When information is no longer reasonably required, we may delete, anonymize, or de-identify it in accordance with our data-retention practices and applicable law.
14. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account from Your account → Security & Privacy. You will review the effects, confirm the deletion phrase and enter a fresh authenticator code. Access closes immediately; data cleanup follows. You can also contact us for help with account or data deletion:
We may need to verify the identity of the person making the request before processing a deletion request.
Following a verified request, we will delete or de-identify information as appropriate, except where retention is reasonably necessary or permitted for purposes such as complying with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations; maintaining records of transactions; resolving disputes; preventing fraud or abuse; enforcing agreements; establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims; maintaining security records; or other purposes permitted or required by applicable law.
Information may also remain temporarily in backups or other protected systems until those systems are overwritten or information is deleted according to our normal retention procedures.
15. Communications
We may contact users through email, telephone, text message, video communication, or other methods in connection with requested coaching services, appointments, account administration, customer support, security matters, transactions, or other service-related purposes.
We do not currently intend to use client contact information for promotional email or text-message campaigns through the Services.
If we introduce marketing communications in the future, we will provide applicable notices and opt-out mechanisms as required by law.
16. Information Concerning Children
The Services are intended only for individuals who are 18 years of age or older.
Your Wealth Ascent does not knowingly offer accounts or Services to children under 18. If we learn that information has been collected through an account belonging to a person under 18 contrary to this policy, we may take appropriate steps to close the account and delete the information, subject to applicable legal requirements.
17. Third-Party Services and Links
The Services may contain links to websites, applications, payment processors, video-conferencing services, or other services operated by third parties.
Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Your Wealth Ascent is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
Users should review the applicable privacy policies before providing information directly to a third-party service.
18. Changes to Features
Features and service providers may change as the Services evolve. If a change materially affects how we collect, use or disclose personal information, we will update this policy and provide notices or obtain consent where required.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to our Services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations.
When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this Privacy Policy. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the Services, by email, or through another appropriate method.
Continued use of the Services following an updated Privacy Policy will be subject to applicable law and any additional consent requirements that may apply.
